Role: Backend + Hardware Engineer
6 man group project, combining software and hardware to make a mobile escaperoom.
This project was a 5 man group project, where we combined software and hardware. The overall project had a Kotlin app, React website, Python backend, a RaspberryPi, Arduino, sensors and actuators
My role in this project was configuring the RaspberryPi to be act as a WiFi hotspot, creating the REST API endpoints and helping with fetching the endpoints on the Kotlin app.
I also helped design the physical box, connecting the sensors and actuators to the RaspberryPi.
